Ampere is the basic unit of the Si system. Ampere indicates the magnitude of the passing electromagnetic current. One ampere goes through the circuit if its magnitude of electromagnetic charge flow is just 1 coulomb per 1 second. The subunits of the ampere are microampere and milliampere.
